Terms and conditions of sale

Relative to the online ticket service

 

Article 1. Application of the general terms and conditions of sale

The present general conditions of sale apply to all internet tickets ordered on the chateau and park of Langeais website (http://chateau-de-langeais.com/) via the interface Get-a-ticket (GAT). The company, SARL Kleber Rossillon – Château et parc de Langeais, reserves the right to adapt or modify them at any time. In this case, the sales general terms and conditions from the day of the order apply.

 

 

Article 2. Contractual relations

2.1. The information shown on the internet site and the current year’s brochures may be subject to modifications that the client will be informed of before the conclusion of the order.

 

2.2. The company, SARL Kléber Rossillon – Château et parc de Langeais, is the only client interlocuter, and answers to the client in the execution of the obligations that arise from the present conditions of sale. The company, SARL Kléber Rossillon – Château de Langeais, is exonerated from all or part of its responsibility, if proof is provided that the non-execution or wrongful execution of the contract is attributable to the buyer, a third party, an unforeseeable and insurmountable fact or a case of force majeure.

 

2.3. The client declares that they fulfil the following conditions : is at least 18 years old; is legally capable of signing a contract and is not under guardianship or trusteeship. In this case, by default, the company SARL Kléber Rossillon – Château et parc de Langeais reserves the right to cancel the order.

 

2.4. In application of the article L121-21-8 12° of the consumer code, the company SARL Kléber Rossillon – Château et parc de Langeais, as a leisure-provider for specific dates and specific periods of time, is not subject to the right-to-retract code stated in the article L121-21, and following from the same code, in the matter of distance selling.

 

2.5. The sale offers proposed on the website http://chateau-de-langeais.com.com/ governed by the present terms and conditions of sale, are normally valid whilst they remain online and until depletion of the allocated places. This may vary in real-time.

 

 

Article 3. Prices and payment

3.1. The price figured on the website and the current season’s brochures of the château and park of Langeais are applicable until the end of the year and include all taxes. They are determined in terms of economic conditions in force at the date of the establishment of the prices and may be revised after the order, only in the case of variation of discernible taxes to do with the services proposed. In this case, the company, SARL Kléber Rossillon  - château et parc de Langeais, reserves the right to modify the sum of the order, by modifying the variation percentage in the element of the order concerned.

 

3.2. Each ordered ticket, printed or downloaded, is assigned. It is impossible to enter the castel of Langeais multiple times with a single ticket. Only the first person to present themselves with each ticket will be admitted ; this person will be presumed to be the legitimate owner of the ticket. Internet-bought tickets are personal and non-transferable. They cannot be exchanged or reimbursed.

 

3.3. As soon as the order for tickets (reservation) has been confirmed and paid for, the client cannot request to apply, post factum, reductions or promotional offers in progress.

 

3.4. All payments must be made in euros, by an authorised bank card, on the day of the reservation. A full and immediate payment is required for all orders placed on the internet website. No other method of payment is accepted. The company, SARL Kléber Rossillon – Château et parc de Langeais, is not responsible for any bank card charges incurred to do with exchange rates or for any other reason.

 

3.5. The validation date on the ticket order corresponds with the purchase date and the payment by bankcard online (Law from 13 March 2000 on electronic signatures)

 

3.6. All purchases of tickets signed by the client using the ‘double click’ constitutes an irrevocable acceptance that cannot be negated. The ‘double click’, associated with the authentication procedure and non-cancellation and the protection of the integrity of the messages, constitutes an electronic signature. This electronic signature holds the same worth between the parties as a handwritten signature.

 

3.7. Payment by bank card is done on the secured bank-servers of our partner CREDIT AGRICOLE CHARENTE PERIGORD via PAYZEN. This implies that no banking information concerning the client passes through the chateau and park of Langeais website or the interface Get-a-ticket. Therefore, payment by bank card is perfectly secure; the client’s order will be registered and confirmed as soon as the bank chosen by the client accepts.

 

3.8. The contact details of the client’s credit card are encrypted, thanks to the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol, and never pass visibly on the network. The payment is made directly to the bank. The company, SARL Kléber Rossillon – Château de Langeais, and the interface Get-a-ticket, have no access to these details under any circumstances, and do not keep them on the servers. This is why the client will be asked to supply their details for every new transaction on our website.

 

3.9. The company, SARL Kléber Rossillon – Château de Langeais, reserves the right to refuse honouring an order emanating from a client who has not fully paid for a previous order or with whom there is an ongoing administration payment litigation.

 

3.10. The chateau and park of Langeais “daytime” e-tickets cannot be refunded, transferred, exchanged or modified.

 

 

 

 

Article 4 :  Validity of ordering tickets on the Internet

4.1. Dated tickets, ordered and bought on the internet via the Chateau and park of Langeais website, are only valid for the date chosen by the clients when ordering. It is not possible to change the date once the order has been confirmed.

 

42. Internet tickets ordered for children may be subjected to an age-check at the entrance tills of the chateau of Langeais. In the absence of identification that justifies this price, the Chateau and the park of Langeais reserves the right to demand the difference in price to bring the payment in line with an adult ticket on the day of the visit.

 

4.3. In no case can the chateau and park of Langeais be responsible for any theft or loss of the tickets ordered. No duplicates can be issued on site.

 

 

Article 5. Presentation of the tickets ordered by internet

5.1. The internet-ticket titled ‘voucher’, received by e-mail after the order, must be presented at the ticket booth on the day of your visit. This document can be printed on white paper or on a digital device.

 

52. Printed document: The printing function of ticket ordered via internet implies printing the said documents on an ordinary printer with access to the internet. The client must ensure the printed tickets are legible and must correspond to the validity conditions described hereafter. Partially printed, dirty, damaged or unreadable documents will not be accepted and will be considered invalid. In case of poor-quality prints, the client must reprint their Internet ticket or tickets to ensure legibility. The client can check the quality of print by checking themselves that the information written on the printed tickets are readable. The company, SARL Kléber Rossillon – Chateau and park of Langeais, declines any responsibility for any anomalies occurring during the client’s order, treatment or printing of the Internet tickets.

Documents presented on a digital device: The ‘voucher’ can be presented to the ticket booth host or hostess on a mobile digital device (mobile phone or tablet). This implies that the client has downloaded the document prior to their arrival at the site and has verified it functions fully on the mobile device. Partially downloaded, damaged or unreadable documents will not be accepted and considered de facto as non-valid. The company, SARL Kléber Rossillon – Chateau and park of Langeais, declines any responsibility for any anomalies that could occur during the client’s order, treatment or downloading of the tickets.

 

 

Article 6. Personal data

6.1. Following the data-processing and freedom law of January 6th, 1978, the client has the right to access, rectify and oppose the personal data concerning them. This right can be applied by writing a letter to the following address indicating your first name, last name and address : Château et parc de Langeais – Place Pierre de Brosse – 37130 Langeais

 

6.2. Personal data collected by the company, SARL Kléber Rossillon – Chateau and park of Langeais, during the purchase of a ticket on the internet is strictly reserved for the use of the ticket office.

 

 

Article 7. Complaints and resolution of online disputes

For all complaints, the client may share their comments using the contact form on the website http://chateau-de-langeais.com/contact/, or by sending an e-mail to the following address contact@chateau-de-langeais.com. In accordance with the provisions of articles L 611-1 and R 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code concerning the amicable settlement of disputes:

Where the consumer has addressed a written complaint to the trader and has not obtained satisfaction or response within two months, he can submit his complaint to the consumer ombudsman free of charge. The mediator must be contacted within a maximum of one year from the initial complaint.

Article 8. Miscellaneous

The present conditions of sale are presented for their interpretation and implementation by French law. In the absence of an amicable settlement, the client may seize either one of the jurisdictions having territorial jurisdiction under the Code of Civil Procedure, or the jurisdiction of the place where they resided at the time of the conclusion of the contract or the occurrence of the damaging incident.
